Shri V. Lingam Naik's path through the Congress party began at the student level in 1994 and has run continuously through every rung of the organization — NSUI, the municipal council, the district committee, and now the district's Adivasi Congress leadership.
Since 2018 he has served as Vice Chairman of the District Adivasi Congress, Hyderabad, where his work centres on Scheduled Tribe community empowerment, strengthening party committees, and coordinating training and election programmes across the united Mahabubnagar district.
In 2024 he coordinated Adivasi Congress outreach for the Mahabubnagar Parliament election, and in 2026 he has taken on state-level responsibilities — training coordinators across all ten united districts of Telangana and overseeing election management in Narayanpet and Nirmal districts.
